Meet the Team Event

At the Foundation, we are excited by the year ahead and invite you to attend an event to kick off the year. We will be hosting a Meet the Team event on January 30th to share an overview of the Foundation, details about our priorities, and specific services and opportunities at the Foundation that are available to nonprofits and community leaders. We are also excited to introduce to you our new team members and ensure you know who to connect with to answer your questions. We hope you will join us!

                  11am-12pm – Time for mingling and 1-1 conversations with Foundation colleagues

In addition to this event, we are holding two other events for the nonprofit community this spring. These events are distinct and we invite you attend all of them:

  • The Grants Open House is January 16th at the Foundation office. This event is a chance to get your grant proposal questions answered, particularly if you are planning to apply to the February 1 deadline for Bama Works, Strengthening Systems and Louisa County Community Fund. This event is informal. Pop in any time during the 2-hour window. If you cannot make the event, please contact our programs team to schedule a time to connect before the deadline. 
     
  • The Foundation Grants Update event is May 8, 10-12pm at the African American Heritage Center. This event will focus specifically on new and important information related to Foundation grant programs. Mark your calendars!
