Tell us a little about yourself
I am a 23 year old who grew up in Charlottesville. I graduated from Roanoke College in 2010 and played Field Hockey, along with being the President of Phi Mu Sorority. I work for State Farm Insurance in Charlottesville, and have worked there since graduation. I mentor for Computer 4 Kids, and do voice promos for 106.1 The Corner.
What brought you to Charlottesville?
I grew up here, and ended up getting my first post-grad job here!
Why did you decide to become a Future Fund Member?
As a young professional, I came back home realizing the benefits of both being in a small city and the challenge of finding a group of like-minded professionals who are engaged in giving back to the community. Therefore I'm looking forward to networking, making new friends, and enjoying the benefits of being involved!
What is your favorite aspect of being a member?
That I will see the benefits in our community, along with meeting people that I haven't had the opportunity to meet in other social aspects of this city.
