Tell us a little about yourself
Originally from New Delhi. My family and I relocated here when I was just 7. I come from a pretty progressive household, so we have integrated quite well with the American culture.
I enjoy building cars, and racing cars. I've built several. Cars still play a roll in my life, but I try to focus on traveling as much as I can right now. I have a rule of traveling to at least 2 countries a year, so far so good.
I try to read, but I'm a slow reader. I turned my TV off in 2008 and it was a great move on my part.
What brought you to Charlottesville?
My business primarily, I spent my teens and a good part of my 20s in the DC area. I like DC a lot, and try to go up on a regular basis to see friends and enjoy the city.
Why did you decide to become a Future Fund Member?
I live a pretty privileged life, I'd like to give back in some way. Also to meet people with similar interests. The Future Fund is the first step of several, I have planned to help me give back.
What is your favorite aspect of being a member?
I can chose my level of involvement.
Favorite philanthropist or charity?
