Making a planned gift through the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation can accomplish two important goals. First, planned gifts can help support worthwhile charitable causes, and second, these gift arrangements offer significant financial and tax advantages to donors.
When donors make planned gifts through CACF, they may be able to increase their income stream, minimize capital gains and estate taxes, and realize significant income-tax deductions. Donors also experience the satisfaction of knowing they have done something of enduring value for their community. There are many kinds of planned gifts. We describe some of the more popular ones in this brochure.
For more information about these and other kinds of planned giving opportunities with CACF, please contact Kevin O’Halloran, Director of Donor Relations at (434) 296-1024.
