Susan Payne

Mrs. Payne has been a CACF Governing Board Member since January 2005 and is a member of the Grants Committee and an ex-officio member of the Grants Follow-up Committee.

Mrs. Payne is the President of Payne, Ross & Associates. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Charlottesville Free Clinic, the Downtown Business Association of Charlottesville, Virginia National Bank, Virginia Tourism Corporation, and WVPT – Public Television.

In the past, Mrs. Payne was the Director of Commercial Development for Richardson Associates, as well as the Marketing Director at Wintergreen and the Director of Commercial Leasing at The Heritage Corporation.

Mrs. Payne is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Museum of American Frontier Culture, the Nelson County Community Development Foundation, the Virginia Discovery Museum, the Emily Couric Leadership Forum, the Piedmont Virginia Community College, the Tuckahoe School, Wintergreen Performing Arts and the VA Piedmont Technology Council.

Mrs. Payne received her B.A. from Endicott College.
