Mr. Broome has been a CACF Governing Board member since January 2011 and is the Secretary of the Governing Board, the Chair of the Audit Committee, as well as a Co-Chair of the Board Development Committee  and a member of the Investment Committees.

Mr. Broome is the Frank S. Kaulback Jr. Professor Emeritus of Commerce, University of Virginia.    Mr. Broome has taught undergraduate and graduate financial reporting and analysis courses in the U.V.a McIntire School and Law School.  He has previously served as Executive Director and trustee of the Institute of Charted Financial Analysts (CFA Institute), Chairman of CPA Examination Review Board and a member of the national CPA Board of Examiners and many other boards.  He has taught at Duke University, Tulane University, Lancaster University (UK) and University of Texas at Austin.

Most recently Mr. Broome has chaired the Virginia Board of Accounting which regulates CPAs and public accounting firms in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
