- Bama Works Fund of Dave Matthews Band in CACF supports charitable programs in the Charlottesville area with a particular focus on disadvantaged youth, needs of the disabled, protection of the environment, and the arts and humanities. - The Nelson County Community Fund (NCCF) in CACF was established by the Nelson County Advisory Committee to provide grants to support nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life in Nelson County. Read More
- The Prana fund seeks to support projects that assist children and enhance educational opportunities for young people. Special consideration is given to projects with hands-on learning integrating both environmental education and/or the fine arts. Read More
- CACF made its first grant of $100,000 to the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition (CMHWC) -- a nonprofit coalition of 15 agencies and 8 supporting agencies that was formed in 2009 and has been working to address gaps in the local mental health care system. Read More
